Looking through an old rustic truck’s windshield in Silverton, Colorado, Pam McCoy, photographer, captures a glimpse of the Silverton Mountain lying under the majestic blue sky with puffs of white clouds.
All You Need Is A Roof Over Your Head
This photo of a rustic home was found along the streets of Silverton, Colorado back in 2011. Green grass and yellow dandelions welcome you to the rickety old front door. Brittle leaves have found a resting place along the siding of the house.
Rustic Home With Character
This house definitely has character. Old rustic wood of different color, shapes, and sizes. What once were windows, are now boarded up for additional resting places for spiders and leaves.
If These Walls Could Talk
If these walls could talk, what stories do you think they would tell? Did a family live here? What was their occupation? Was this a summer retreat? Who built it?

Old Buildings have Character
This building reminds me of old shows like the Waltons and Little House on the Prairie.
I can imagine horses tied to the posts and wagons filled with the family as they go into town for their weekly supply of goods. Imagine your town having just this one building for all your essentials.
Were these the simple times of life?
