Pam McCoy Photography
Sharing my collection of photographs taken during my travels and everyday life. Vintage cars, cattle, flowers, landscape, and barns are some of the photos you will see in her collections. Ready to catch the next set of pixels.
I love the country. Ever since I was a little girl, I remember being so excited when we got to drive the country roads and see the barns, cows, horses and old vehicles. I would beg my parents to stop the car so I could just capture the picture in my mind.
I have always owned some form of a camera. I purchased my first camera by collecting cereal box labels back in the…dare I tell you…the sixties! It was a cute little plastic camera but it took pictures. The problem was getting them developed.
Today my hobby is taking photographs especially of animals, barns, old trucks, mailboxes and doors. I continue to love driving the country roads and will often pull over or have to make a u-turn to capture that special photograph. I enjoy getting really close to my subject matter and capture one unique item like a hinge or a side of the face of the animal.
Most of my photos have little or no photoshop done to them. Once in awhile, I enjoy playing in photoshop and creating a unique photo.
I also like using my photos in cards and with words and quotes.
Pam McCoy Photography will feature photos at Open Studios Napa Valley in 2015. This will be my first public display.
